News from New Zealand ...

I see that book reviewer Laura Kroetsch is about to name Luca Antara one of her four Best Books of 2006 - it'll be on National Radio tomorrow and podcast and the URL should go up on the NatRad website immediately afterwards.

Wish someone would do something like that here.

Well, Martin, I bought your book on Thursday, in Unity Books in Auckland (prominently displayed in the middle of the new books table), and finished it this morning. It's the kind of book one gulps down rather than simply *reading* it ... I've liked each of the others, but this is your best so far, I think.

I'd also like to request your permission to put an extract into the anthology for the Travel Course I'm teaching at Massey Albany this semester. I gather the university copyright people pay each publisher a token fee eventually, so it's really more to get the word out about it than to make you royalties. YOu may get some sales, though -- one of the course requirements is to do a complete review of one of the books extracted from in the anthology ...

best, jack
